
Educational Activities at the Kazakh-Chinese Language College
Educational work at the Kazakh-Chinese Language College is conducted based on the "Comprehensive Education Program in Educational Organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and the educational activity plan approved by the college director.
Goal of Educational Activities:
To create optimal conditions within the system of continuous education for the development, self-realization, and socialization of students as citizens and patriots of the Republic of Kazakhstan, capable of professional, intellectual, and social creativity.
Objectives of Educational Work:

Fostering Citizenship and Patriotism:
- Cultivating civic responsibility, patriotism, intelligence, respect for human rights and freedoms, state symbols, and national traditions.

- Encouraging accountability for one’s actions in social, natural, and cultural contexts to oneself, society, and future generations.

Educational activities consider the students' age-specific characteristics.
- First-Year Students: Engage in short discussions and interactive advisory sessions such as "How I Understand the Law," "Otan – Altyn Besigim" ("Motherland is My Golden Cradle"), and "Kazakhstan – Our Common Home."
- Senior Students: Participate in more complex events and activities.
Annual College Events:

A decade dedicated to Kazakhstan's Independence Day, including:
- Essay contests.

- Wall newspaper competitions.

Traditional events at both college and city levels, such as "Ata Saltym – Asyl Muram" ("My Ancestors' Customs – My Precious Heritage"), celebrating national customs and traditions.

Rules for College Students
General Provisions
- The Internal Rules are developed in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Law "On Education," the College Charter, and the resolution of the Pedagogical Council of the International Kazakh-Chinese Language College. These rules define the fundamental rights and obligations of students and are mandatory for compliance by all students.
- The Rules serve as the primary regulatory document for student activities within the College.
- Students (individuals enrolled by the Director's order) must acquire knowledge and complete all types of tasks stipulated in the educational programs and curricula within the prescribed timeframe.
- Educational discipline is maintained by the College administration through the creation of necessary organizational conditions for education and extracurricular activities.
- Matters related to the application of the Internal Rules are resolved by the College administration within its authority and, when required, in consultation with the College Student Council.
- Changes and additions to the Internal Rules are adopted at the Pedagogical Council with the participation of student representatives and take effect upon the Director's approval.
- The text of the Internal Rules is displayed on the College's notice board.
Main Rights of Students
Students have the right to:
- Receive education in accordance with the State Compulsory Educational Standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Study on educational grants or a contract basis.
- Receive scholarships (for those studying under the state order).
- Acquire knowledge that corresponds to the modern level of science, technology, and culture.
- Be treated with dignity and respect, and have freedom of conscience, information, and the expression of personal opinions and beliefs.
- Participate in discussions and decisions on important college matters through student organizations and governance bodies.
- Use the college library, information resources, and other services free of charge.
- Engage in creative projects, research work, conferences, contests, festivals, and other activities.
- Take part in cultural, sports, and extracurricular events, including contests and competitions organized by the College.
- Consult with faculty on academic subjects and select elective courses offered by the College.
- Receive recognition for outstanding academic achievements and active participation in College life.
- Elect and be elected to student self-governance bodies.
- Participate in international Chinese language proficiency tests.
Main Obligations of Students
Students are required to:
- Fulfill the obligations set forth in the Law "On Education."
- Respect the customs and traditions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and uphold the title of College student with dignity.
- Foster interethnic communication and respect faculty and peers.
- Comply with the College Charter, Internal Rules, and decisions of the Pedagogical Council and administration.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in classrooms and College premises.
- Acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills within the chosen specialty and complete assignments, exams, and credits on time.
- Avoid missing classes without a valid reason and address any academic debts promptly.
- Adhere to safety and hygiene standards and protect College property.
- Dress professionally and maintain a neat appearance.
- Inform the class teacher or administration of absences due to illness or other valid reasons.
Prohibited Actions in the College
- Engaging in unlawful activities such as theft, bullying, or harassment.
- Disrupting classes, making loud noises, or playing music during lessons.
- Smoking or consuming alcohol, narcotics, or other prohibited substances.
- Bringing weapons, explosives, or harmful substances onto campus.
- Damaging College property or using personal devices to disrupt activities.
Student Council
- The Student Council operates in accordance with legislation and these Rules.
- The Council President is appointed by the Director's order.
- The Council organizes cultural and extracurricular activities, assists in maintaining material resources, and represents students' interests.
- Decisions regarding student rewards or penalties and extracurricular plans must be coordinated with the Council.
